So in this tech crazy world we live in today, wouldn’t it be helpful to know what apps are useful and what apps are fluff? Each week I will discuss top 5 apps that fall within a certain category, this weeks category being Meditation/Relaxation!

1.     Calm App

a.     4.8 out of 5 stars

b.     Pros – Many users swear by its ability to reduce anxiety and minimize stress & insomnia

c.      Cons – The cost to upgrade your features, 13$ per month $60 a year, 300$ for lifetime option

d.     SLUMBER APP**  4.6 out of 5 stars-  users that weren’t quite fulfilled with Calm also pair it with Slumber

2.     Headspace

a.     4.9 out of 5 stars

b.     Main focus is guided meditation

c.      Pros – Many options for you to meditate to, constantly updating their library, guided meditation (so its like having your own personal coach), kid friendly

d.     Cons – Some users complain about the accessibility of the app

3.     Breethe

a.     4.8 out of 5 stars

b.     Pros – Updated weekly with new mediations, excellent customer service on the administrative side of the app, user friendly

c.      Cons -  Some users were complaining of technical glitches

4.     Digipill        

a.     4.0 out of 5 stars

b.     Pros – Promotes weight loss and beats insomnia

c.      Cons – Users complain about the “sleep pill” portion of the app

5.     Simple Habit

a.     4.8 out of 5 stars

b.     Pros – Sessions are short and can be done almost anywhere, kid friendly

c.      Cons – Not many free options for users on the app making it so you have to purchase the membership
